A walk in the woods

The weather has been glorious today. Bright warm sunshine and we made the most of it with a walk in the woods. We followed the bluebell trail and the children had great fun finding the fairies, blue and belle. We stopped at a clearing for a picnic and watched a little blue tit building its nest in a nesting box. We played with sticks, crossed boggy ditches, saw the bluebells and enjoyed being out in the open.

G&G came round this afternoon when we were home. The children did some painting and then P put on a pony show in the living room for everyone.

Children were shattered this evening and went to bed early. Uncle B has come round for Chinese and I'm just about to go back for seconds!
