National Football Museum.
This month the National Football Museum moved from Preston to Manchester.
It opened in 2001 at the Deepdale ground of Preston North End (known affectionately by their opponents as Preston Nob End).
Deepdale is the oldest continuously used football league ground in the world.
As a parent of three boys I have been there many times and there was something 'right' about it being at a football ground.
In return for a funding package from Manchester City Council worth £2million a year the museum was moved to the Urbis building in Manchester.
Urbis is an 'interesting' modern building. It has no connection to football.
I do like this poster but was not too keen on the incoveniently placed street furniture.
Today was very rainy again.
I resorted to going to work in my wellies (I did take shoes to change into).
Also upped my Evening primrose intake and went on a sunbed for 5mins at lunch in order to conteract my moaning mood of yesterday.
Not sure if it worked ;-)
