There's a theme

Blipping one handed and trying not to faint. A whole pint I tell you! And look at the size of that needle - I'd forgotten I'm a little scared of them. But I have the blood type that everyone can use and I heard a story on the radio recently of a woman who had needed 42 pints during labour and got myself in gear to get back in the donating habit.

J had a blood test yesterday and we got the results today. Probably not practical to go into much detail one-hand typing and not entirely sure of all the implications until we see the GP on Monday. But...there is a possibility that we may finally have an answer for his failure to recover. And it may be a thing that people have actually heard about and know about and know what to do with. And I give all credit to the amazing, persistent problem solving wonder that is Carlos. I can never thank him enough for getting us to this place. May his beers always be super chilled and his curries super spicy.

I may be feeling a little emotional.

Probably the lack of blood.
