Tribute
So many possibilities for blips today.
I was in Glasgow for a meeting of the CHIP generating evidence and promoting improvement meeting. New buildings springing up. Old remnants of buildings covered in vines.
Good discussions and some creative ideas to explore.
Then the news of Ronnie Corbett's death. So many hours of entertainment laughter and fun from him over the years. should I light 4 candles as a tribute?
Then I heard of the death of Dame Zaha Hadid. For many years I've admired her buildings without knowing she was the architect behind them. The fluidity and grace of her structures often were stunning. It was only the other week I heard her on Desert Island Discs and was fascinated by her story.
Before I heard the news I had happened to grab this view of the Riverside Museum as the train from Edinburgh, having wound its way round the north of Glasgow due to the tunnel works, then headed in to the city from the west.
It may not be the best of photos but the fact that the building attracted my attention from the train is a testament to her design and flair.
