Church of the Good Shepherd

We stopped off here on our way to Aoraki/Mt Cook, as my niece had been to a wedding here. Although it was Sunday the church was closed. Lots of tour buses stop here so it was not the tranquil place I imagined. The lake was the stunning turquoise.

We continued to White Horse DOC camping ground and had a lovely little walk out to Kea Point to view the Mueller glacier and moraine. Tomorrow, Hooker Glacier walk.
