Waiting

As some of you may know, I am updating my husband’s journal while he is in hospital. Although I will be updating his journal I will not be replying to any messages, he can do that himself once he is well enough.

We were there, as requested at 0630 hours and told he was first on the day patient’s list, but that his surgeon was already operating, presumably an emergency, but that he was next; not so, duff information! He did not go to theatre until 1515 hours; he is now out of surgery and back on the ward although not the one we expected him to go too.

Today’s picture is of him waiting to go to theatre, by the time this was taken we were both rather bored!
