Difference

A day of work and pleasure; of rain and sunshine. There was a hint of frost on the grass this morning when I went for a short walk before breakfast. The air was cool and clear. Later before tea, the sky was a dramatic mixture of dark grey clouds and blue. I walked to the River Tweed in the sunshine, the water glistened like a sea of diamonds, the grass banks lined with bright yellow daffodils. This was the view across Victoria Park to Venlaw. There were plenty of people enjoying the sunshine now we have lighter evenings.
