Early birthday treat

The weather forecast looks awful for Ellie's 9th birthday tomorrow, so we brought forward her birthday treat by a day - a trip to the Flambards Experience in Helston! What a brilliant day we had: lots of rides - both tame and stomach-churning; sunny weather; candyfloss; and plenty of fun and laughter -most of which was directed at me and my screams of sheer terror on most of the rides. The main thing was that Ellie had a great time - and Anna, as we have always suspected, has no fear at all. I also made the decision not to take the Nikon, which is just as well as it would probably have been soaked in the log flume or dropped from a great height. So this shot was taken on David's phone.
