Just a taste ......

...... of Henley on Thames!
We had a poor start to our journey this morning , encountering an accident on the M25 where 2 cars collided 1 turning on its side? Do hope the passengers were OK , there were ambulances , 2 fire engines and 4 police cars in attendance , not sure they were all necessary but there go!! It took us 1 hour to do a15/20 minute journey ( nothing to what some people contended with over the weekend ) . We then did a round trip of Wokingham , but decided we'd do it again and again !!!! Having found the right exit we proceeded to Henley, fortunately the sun was shinning , and had coffee and a delicious snack in a little cafe called " the Patisserie " and no we didn't partake of the wonderful cakes on offer!! We felt very virtuous ! Then for a lovely stroll by the river and around the town before we took a 15 minute drive to our hotel , The George is a 14 century coaching inn , very quaint with delightful staff. 5.10 pm and sadly it's now raining but we have been really lucky so far.

Happy ... to feel a little better to day ( do hope it lasts ) !!! Looking forward to tomorrow's surprise . Hope they don't bring their Axes with them ???
