not a good day in the end

After having a lovely Easter Monday we ended up at Leicester Royal Infirmary in the evening after Mr I had a fall and hit his head on the tiled floor. He was unconscious and we had to call an ambulance. After a CT scan it was discovered that he'd fractured his skull. Fortunately no displacement or bleeding so he was allowed home in the early hours of the morning. Kathy, Jim and Holly were with me whilst we were waiting. The NHS did a wonderful job - friendly, efficient, thorough and reassuring.
