Easter Sunday

We went to the Easter sunrise communion this morning at Ratby church. We've been going for the last few years. It's held outside next to an open fire as the sun rises. Afterwards everyone goes inside the church for tea and hot cross buns. This is the 2016 Paschal candle which is lit from the fire, blessed, and taken inside the church. It's used throughout the year for special occasions.
