Hello :)

I thought this little friendly face was fitting for my shot today being 'Tiny Tuesday' and also a day of gardening, lawn mowing and generally tidying up outside.

Orthodera novaezealandiae, known as a New Zealand mantis or a New Zealand praying mantis is endemic to New Zealand and this one was sitting inside my garden waste bin and was rather curious when I opened the lid.

Just popping in when I can at present, all avenues have been explored re the eyes but it's still an on-going process which is a bit frustrating.

E is enjoying her trip away, now spending time in Orlando, lucky girl :)
