A celebration......

R turned 85 today, we had a small get-together for him at the home, he felt special and was terribly emotional, it was lovely and hard all at the same time as he had no idea it was his birthday or his age. It would've been nice to have blipped him with his birthday cake but I decided to go with this lovely dahlia which the overlooks the dementia care, R always enjoyed the garden and its beauty.
