What is it about dogs and sticks, or dogs and balls, especially on a beach ?

There was certainly a lot of dog on stick action taking place this morning as we walked from Friars Cliff to Avon Beach and back before heading to Janette's Mum's. It probably helped that there was a lot of storm damage following Storm Katie blowing through overnight - pebbles and sand thrown by waves at the beach huts, concrete aprons below the sea wall damaged, and a large cedar down above Avon Beach. And lots of twigs flying off the trees onto the beach.

I like taking portraits, but I am uncomfortable about putting them onto Blipfoto. It's very public, and somehow a face is a very private thing, no matter how much I like the image. So I was going to pass on MonoMonday. And then this dog walked by (the pre shot is in the extra).   It had no reservations !
