Smudge on a shelf.
What a day weatherwise. Woken early by gale force winds and got up expecting to see lots of damage. Luckily only a large section of conifer and an adjoining tree had come down, knocking down two small fences in the bargain. But all the other fence was intact. So no real problem.
All thoughts of a nice Bank Holiday trip out were abandoned, and the morning was spent clearing the debris, cutting up branches and bagging firs to take to the recycling tip.
The wind has eased up a lot and the sun has been shining. More work was done in the chicken field, resiting the electric fence so that its clear of vegetation. Usual mucking out and filling the water troughs.
The blip is of Smudge who had found a nice sunny spot on an old glass shelving unit that is in the garden and used to store plant pots.
Hope you all enjoy the Bank Holiday.
