Happy Easter

Katie has been looking forward to the Dawn Service this year. So much so that when she woke at 4.45 (adjusted time, so really 3.45) she couldn't go back to sleep. And that was before she even knew that there was an Easter hunt and bunny friends awaiting her. She was a really good girl, I asked her to wait until after the service to do the hunting. She'd spotted a couple of wee bits but left alone.

We enjoyed our walk to the old Mill where the service was being held, as the sun began to start making its appearance. The service was lovely. Just 15-20minutes of songs and fellowship with a time pausing to watch the sun rise over the pastures and the Minster. Most people left before it was at its most stunning though!  She passed golden eggs round our friends before we headed for home.

She had a fabulous time on her hunt & opening her gifts. She's not that into chocolate so I get her handmade Easter gifts rather than chocolate - she has a bunny hoody dress this year plus some more bunnies from Paperchase that match her bizarre Christmas ones. She was very pleased with a bunny mug that Granny and Grandad bought her too. She spent half an hour in her room playing happily with her bunnies and is in the bath at the moment before we head to the morning service at Church.

Given the early start for us both, the rest of the day may be fairly gentle, though against the odds of the weatherman, it is a stunning day. Theres an extra photo again today, just because I think she looks rather adorable
