I'm momentarily winning at being a cool mum here, as posted by Tess's pal. But let's be honest here:-

a) look how stingingly small these Easter eggs are, if I had been buying them for myself, they would have been much bigger

b) my car battery died outside the daytime "middle aged mum disco dance for your life in the aisles" shop (other folk call it the co-op). Stranded, in dire straits and wasting away (okay, it was only 5 minutes into my wait for the nice AA man), I did seriously contemplate eating the girls chocolate Easter eggs and going back empty handed.
