Now we're on holidays!

A really straightforward trip down in the new van. Six hours with two stops may well be a record so the 4am start was worth it. We were so early that we decided to head off to St Ives.
We journeyed in on the train from Leylant which was a good call from Ona.
We sheltered from the rain in a burger bar overlooking the harbour. Then a quick but very successful shop - more on this on Wednesday.
Apartment ready early again and once unpacked and recharged, we popped to the revamped local for a pint. The current judgement is that it's not an improvement but there's time yet. Back to the most relaxing and comfortable of spaces for the shopping delivery and home prepared chilli. Perfect day 1.
Bailey's been too excited to sleep all day but is making up for it now - as can be seen in the extra.
