Rising Water Again
Braving the wind and the rain, we decided to drive up to Glenshee to visit the official opening of the "Wee House of Glenshee", as we thought they might not have too many visitors on such a dreich day.
There were only about half a dozen customers while we were there, although it had been busier earlier and we enjoyed soup and a scone for lunch. Our intention had been to carry on to Braemar and Ballater, but the rain was even heavier when we came out, so we just headed back home.
The photo was taken quickly from the car (I got soaked when I opened the window!) and shows the small river called the Blackwater running really fast with the combination of meltwater from the snow and the pouring rain. A typical Easter weekend in the Highlands!
