Face
The carnitas in Quiroga were calling me this morning, so we headed up the lake for lunch and to visit a few more villages. We picked a different carnitas vendor primarily because there were so many people that it was next to impossible to move through the crowds and the vendor we selected was right next to the crosswalk. While eating our yummy lunch, I photographed this woman with her face so full of character. I remembered back to our local State Fair and the professional photo exhibit every year. There was always at least one photo containing a face similar to the one this woman possessed. Of course, those were usually shot in a studio under controlled lighting, not between bites of tacos carnitas. Maybe that is the mark of a true professional, photos before lunch.
