Face of disappointment

Cameron, come down from Christchurch today to attempt to run a qualifying time for the World Juniors 10,000m. Cameron needed to run 30:30 he ran 31:36. Don't get me wrong his time was fantastic. Today solely come down to not being prepared properly, whether he himself was not or his coaches had not prepared him. Watching his race he never had enough top runners to pull him through, his first rabbit got cramp and pulled out just after 4 of the 25 laps. In the middle stages Cameron started to fade and then he would pick up again,unfortunately surging like this takes up a lot of energy. Cameron is disappointed but I hope he learns from this and uses the experience to step up.
