Flower Friday - Multi Daffodil

We had a very early walk this morning - Finlay decided he wasn't hungry at 7 a.m. and just lay down next to his food - so we went out instead!

The lambs (maybe not the same ones) were still out in the lane and walking through the woods we disturbed the two deer again. Too quick for me to catch a shot in the woods - but as we came out of the trees I could see them legging it across open fields and managed to grab a shot  (see extra - it is a severe crop of a full 300mm shot so it is a bit grainy).

The photo is of daffodil stem that has multiple small flowers on top - I have never seen one like this before. It came out of a bag of mixed bulbs that I planted last Autumn. 

In the afternoon I made a couple of batches of curry - a lamb rogan josh and a chicken korma and portioned them up for the freezer. Tried the lamb for tea and it was rather nice.

By tea time Finlay had forgotten his early walk and was pestering - so we had a quick spin up the old A1 layby to the pigs. Managed to get over 15,000 steps in today!
