Eilean Donan Castle

Today we left Fort Augustus and headed for Skye. We stopped off at Eilean Donan Castle on the way and spent some time there, with my camera and tripod, taking shots of the Castle. It was great fun taking photos and really is such a beautiful setting. The weather was brilliant - the sun was shining the whole time. We were lucky enough to get sitting outside for lunch too.

We arrived in Portree at 3.30pm, sun still shining. Feel so lucky to see Skye at it's best today!!

Hoping for more sun tomorrow - fingers crossed!!
