A walk by the river

I joined the Procession of the Cross through the village which finished with hot cross buns in the Baptist church hall.  In the afternoon, I decided to walk the river from Surfleet and Pinchbeck and back through the lanes.  I had to take my coat off as it was positively warm in the sunshine.  I made a couple of calls to friends in France.  I have decided that tonight's dinner will be Lincolnshire sausage and chorizo chickpea casserole, purple sprouting broccoli and rice followed by yesterday's meringues and crème brûlée.
