Crème brûlée and meringue
After the sporting exertions of the last couple of days, I decided to have a quiet day. After feeding the doves, I set to on a mission to improve my baking skills. I don't really go much beyond bread and flapjack. I had three eggs that needed eating and the internet suggested I make meringues and crème brûlée. They tasted fine but the crème brûlée was a bit stiff and the texture not silky smooth. I will have to try again.
