Sunny day out

Good Friday - and the sun shone.  Families headed off together to make the most of the blue skies and fresh air.

Shugborough was overwhelmed. Cars queuing. People queuing. Little ones doing trails and competitions. (it didn't ask about the heron so he just posed, unobserved, while they looked for plastic clues - extra photo).

The lambs by the car park were in great demand (extra photo).

The kingfisher just flew along the river by the Essex Bridge (too fast for a shot, though).

This little man was fascinated by the friendly sheep. He kept stroking and checking out the coat for ages. I asked his mum if I could take the photo (back view of course in these manic days).
