Feeling the heat

By the time we have breakfasted, the temperatures are already soaring to the mid 30's. We chose sunbeds on the shadier side of the main pool (there is a plunge pool for the water slides, a small swimming pool, a kids pool with play equipment in it, a tiny paddling pool for the tiny ones and the main pool where all the fun happens.

We get about an hour of sunbathing in the morning before it gets too hot around lunchtime. We chose to then have lunch and head back to our room to chill out until around 3 or 4pm when we return to take part in a music quiz, water polo or a little aqua-aerobics and Zumba and enjoy another hour or two in the sunshine as it begins to cool a little. We reached a maximum of 41c during our holiday. Scorchio!
