School playground

A lovely hour or so celebrating the older pupils recent 1960's project. The invite suggested we might like to dress up and I decided to give the gear a run through, fairly authentic but as in my youth almost reserved. John has this wonderful jacket his mum made in those days, it's striped and colourful, Jacob would have liked it. It wasn't a bad fit and along with a faux swede skirt, not as short as the 60's (heaven forbid that part of me wasn't reserved) just above the knee, they matched quite nicely. And the eye make up, I don't think I have ever used so much, certainly not in my teens. The best photos of the afternoon are of my neighbour hola hooping, and better than the youngsters, I would love to have blipped her but decided it was best not too. And skipping using two ropes! Memories ehhh? This lad was impressive and didn't give up, I don't want to upset any mums with full face image and thought his face was lowered enough.
