Coloured by nature

I really love it when nature thoughtfully colours in the flowers on gravestones .... probably seen to perfection here in the pretty graveyard behind the equally attractive St Mary the virgin church in the little village of Hartfield in East Sussex. 
The church dates back to the C13 and sits amid a graveyard which you enter through an early C16 half-timbered cottage which forms the lychgate. 
A lovely church to visit, I have included a shot of the church in my extras, plus one of the lychgate / house and finally a shot of the two male Phesants who put on a wonderful show for me fighting in the graveyard!
