Memories to hold dear

Bit of a cheat blip of an old photo but given the circumstances I felt it appropriate to mark this moment with li'l sis and her little niece.
Li'l sis turned eleven today, can't believe that time has moved so quickly. She's growing into a beautiful, hilarious and kind young lady who makes us proud everyday.
Pizza out for tea with her, her bestest friend and my mam and it really was lovely with lots of laughs until we received a very sad phonecall that has flipped the day on its head. It's inconceivable to me that a young girl of eleven could have experienced so much loss, in her young life.
It makes me want to hold her that little bit closer to me.
