Fuchsia

Is this normal? to have Fuchsia flowers? At this time of the year?  
On the other hand, it's more or less the only decent plant in our garden, so good to have it greening and redding up. 

A colleague has been awarded an allotment on the same site.  Luckily, he's not the type that would carelessly talk about work in contravention of the unwritten rules.
