NHS Complex

Don't get me wrong! I love the NHS. A comprehensive health service which is FREE at the point of access regardless of how old, how ill or how rich you are, is this country's greatest achievement ever!

But why does it have to be so complicated and so administratively stuck in the Middle Ages?

If you have a family member or friend with multiple conditions you'll know what I mean ...

A different specialist for each condition, none of whom know which pills you've been prescribed, the most appalling appointment letters without any email or answerphone facilities just telephone numbers which no-one ever answers ...

And worst of all, no one person who is taking an overview of the whole person's needs and welfare ... Rant over!
