This building is the most modern looking structure in downtown Boise. Soon, it will be the second-most modern looking building. There are plans afoot to build a 31-story high rise of metal and glass, a thoroughly space-age and ugly monstrosity twice as tall as any building currently standing. Right in the middle of the city, creating the pathway for continued blockage of light from downtown and the views of the mountains (well, foothills) to the north and west that give Boise its character. This building could be said to be the flagship, although it's stood in this spot for more than 12 years, happily being not the tallest building, but looking smart nonetheless.

Ahh, the price of progress.
