Sally Mair - Loving life

Moonlight

Not a great technical shot of the moon tonight, which had a fantastic halo around it, but it is rather an atmospheric shot I thought. It was almost a very costly shot.
I had just been on my way to bed when I spotted the moon out of the window and nipped out with my phone to capture it.
I pulled the door behind me to make sure Cleo didn't get out... But she did and I didn't notice. Fortunately I decided to feed her about 5 minutes later, before going to bed,  she didn't come running as usual, when I shook her food container.
Having turned the house upside down, opened all the cupboards and become rather frantic, I opened the front door as a last resort and she shot straight in. She's never been out before in her 3.5 years and as we live on the main A90, probably will remain a housecat.
I don't know who was more relieved,  Cleo or me. Off to bed now to recover.  A wee picture of Cleo is my extra today, I'm so very relieved to have her safe.
