Diary of an Edinburgher

New toys

Archie is We are still talking about the party yesterday - what fun he we all had! Presents, too. One of the presents lasted all of five minutes, and is not worth fixing, but the other two new ones (one from Rufus) look like it'll be a while before I have to sew them up. And thank you for all the stars and hearts too. I have that photo as my iPad home screen now, so I can chuckle at it several times a day. For ever.

Today we popped over to see Uncle A. He's in fine fettle, getting his passport renewed and planning jaunts in the new car once spring weather arrives properly.

We took the bus back into town, and walked through the Meadows. I must say, that's about the limit of my exertions - I have to have a big sit down for ages when I get home. Which is ridiculous.

JR took Archie for a proper romp up the Hill later on, so he's a happy chappy, as usual, this evening.

Watched the first episode of 'Thicker than Water' last night. A Scandi series (not sure which country, but they keep saying 'tak') about a family with skeletons in the cupboard. Very good! Off to watch the Night Manager now...
