Gallo Pinto

Woke up this morning to our current houseguest, Courtney, my Bro and Sis's friend from their Costa Rica trip, making gallo pinto, Costa Rican style beans and rice. It wasn't exactly the same as the pinto we ate in CR, due to the inavailability of the right type of salsa, but it was still really good. Took me right back to breakfasts in Heredia or Ostional. Good times.
