Lake Windermere

We took ourselves up to the lake today. Had a boat trip from Bowness to Ambeleside, lunch, a little wander and then returned. Got loads of shots but can only select one so went for this capture of the sun on the hills as we journeyed back to Bowness. My extra is one of the swan pics I took back at Bowness.

It is tradional that tonight we go to a quiz in a nearby pub which has good food and a£50 cash prize. The first year we entered we came second but struggled since then but off there soon. It's been another great weekend. I am very tired but pleasantly so. Hope the sun has shone where you are!
