On both sides of The Tyne!

Dash and I have been on an adventure today! We have seen both sides of the river too which seems appropriate on Derby Day! 1-1 I believe to be the final score...

I had a fantastic time cycling from Killingworth to Seaton Sluice and round the North Shields, where I got on the ferry across the South Shields. Once back on dry land, I cycled past The Leas (they look so different from when I was there for The Great North Run!), Souter Lighthouse and into Sunderland, taking in Roker Lighthouse....before retracing my pedals, and taking the ferry the opposite way of course :-) What fun! :-D
