IF I KNEW....

....you were coming...I did...so I baked.
Day off today....rushed about trying to get jobs done before my last minute guests arrived. Just as they pulled up I put the cake in the oven so I shouted down the path...walk slowly!!!! Eventually we had cake!!!
The friends that came asked me to be a witness to their wedding....I am very chuffed! One friend I have known since I was pregnant with J (25 years ago!!) and I also taught 2 of her children. The other friend I have known for a few years as The Rev and I used to foster her cousin at weekends who had special needs. Neither friend knew I knew the other....how strange when our lives collide.
