The Waverley

We took a wee stroll down the Clyde today, past the BBC and Science Centre, to where the Waverley is moored. This paddle steamer is the last seagoing paddle steamer in the world. Although she was not sailing today, this year's trips include sailing amongst the Western Isles, then the west coast of Scotland, before going down south to Liverpool, North Wales, the Bristol Channel, the South Coast of England and London! And here was me thinking she still only went ' doon the watter'!
