A Blip meet in Zuoz, Switzerland
This morning I caught the train to Zuoz, an easy 45 minute direct journey from where I am in Switzerland, for a Blip meet. Zuoz is the home of SwissPiper and MalcolmsEye, and they kindly hosted the meet which was arranged by HilarysView. We were also joined by Reike who had come up for the weekend. They kindly met me at the station and we went to Rachel and Malcolm's home for lunch, before setting off on a walk above the village. This photo was taken by Reike's partner Philip, and in the photo you can see (from left to right) Hilary, Rachel, Malcolm, David (Hilary's husband), me and Mareike. And of course Piper, who was the inspiration for the name of Rachel's journal and Djeili whose mum is Reike! (The last two were added for Tussock). At 1885m this may be the highest Blip meet!
After a lovely walk which included beautiful views - see attached - on a perfect sunny day, we then had drinks on the sunny terrace of a hotel before they took me back to the station. I am now home and have quickly uploaded this image as we are about to go out for supper to celebrate Luke's birthday which is tomorrow.
