Tada!

Well carpet fitter mannie appeared this morning and managed to cut the carpet to size and fit on the stairs and upper hallway. This was the carpet my late mother and I chose for her hallway in Glasgow and she died two days before it was fitted. It's only about six and a bit years old and after I sold the house last year and called in to speak to the guy that bought the house, he was busy ripping the sitting room carpet up. I asked if I could get the hall one being as it cost almost a thousand quid and looked perfectly ok to me. He pulled it up in one piece and now after looking for someone to fit it for the past four months, it's good to see it down. Top of the range Axminster and quality underlay, it's like walking on fluff. I'm sure my old mum will be pleased I rescued it.
