What goes around..
Almost 60 years ago, my parents moved into their first apartment together before my father was then conscripted into the RAF and posted abroad. From there, they took the slow boat to Australia, which didn't work out for them so made their way back to the UK where we lived wherever his job took us....ending up in the West Country.
This blip was how their local railway station looked those 60 years ago.
In the early 80's, I moved to London for a job in Audley Square working for Lord Grade and in '85 Tom was born and by 2004 was travelling the Michelin star restaurants of France, Monaco and Sweden plying his trade, returning to where he is now as Chef at the Frith Street 'in-place', so it seems, Ceviche Restaurant, cooking Peruvian Cuisine for those hip enough to appreciate it. In this last couple of weeks, Tom and Em moved into their first apartment together as they wait for the imminent arrival of their first born.
This blip is how their local railway station looks today.
Some things never change.
