Green Bee-eater
Sadly the family of Green Bee-eaters we had around us here, no longer use the satellite cable as an afternoon perch, preferring the little bit of wire fencing behind the house, which is in heavy shade. This bird at Al Ansab was more than happy to pose while he gave his wing feathers a good check over. Could you imagine a perch with a Kingfisher and a Green Bee-eater on it? What a glorious photograph that would make!
Many, many thanks for all your lovely comments about my Kingfisher and my Osprey encounter.
