Common Sandpiper
A very pretty little Common Sandpiper, quite a bit different from a Green or a Wood Sandpiper and a very small, busy little bird. This one as you can see is keeping itself in immaculate condition with those white feathers gleaming and has just had a full bath, preen and manicure. This little bird is a passage migrant and winter visitor and is very happy with the newly wet conditions of the Wadi.
