Sussex Churches continued .....

St Saviour's church Colgate.
Built in 1871, it is quite an austere church sitting somewhat sadly on a very busy road although this view from the graveyard behind is not so bad.  The graveyard leads down into the local woods famed in the fifteenth century for a horrible vicious dragon living there!! I have to confess I did startle every time I heard a rustle in the bushes!
