Got the thyme?

Whilst in town last weekend, we spotted a flyer for an event in our local park. It was a short course on how to sow a bee friendly garden, which we are always keen to do as we love bees!

Sadly I had to work, but Mr A had just enough time before he started work to be able to attend.

It was free to attend and Mr A came home with lots of cuttings of thyme for the garden.

We'd tried planting it last year but made the mistake of using the pots of thyme from the supermarket. The lady running the course said they aren't hardy so won't survive out in the garden.

Mr A also learned how to take cuttings, so if he wasn't my head gardener before, he definitely is now!
