SUNJEWELS aka PORTULACA [again!] and SCHOOL

The sunjewels in pots at the front door just bloom on and on. A little rain this week has pleased them mightily. 
The school set in the hills behind us was glowing in the early sun today.  It was taken from the distance of more than a kilometre  - as the crow flies - and has been heavily cropped, so it isn't a competition entry.  The school chapel has an enormous triangular window - you can just see it on the left - filled with stained glass, designed by a prominent artist. Former pupils often choose the chapel for their wedding -one of our family did -  but I've heard them complain that guests spend the entire ceremony looking at the window rather than at the bride!!
