Birds of a Feather
This afternoon we went to Manchester Airport viewing park to watch the planes (I told you in an earlier blip that I was a bit of a plane spotter!).
Anyway there was an event taking place this weekend and there were lots of old cars, planes, buses and even a hot air balloon and a traction engine.
At Manchester they have Concorde on display and there was an aviation fair underneath it, which made it look quite spectacular.
I took my camera but told Alan that I would not be blipping a plane, and as luck would have it they had an owl sanctuary there, with numerous different owls. If you made a donation to the sanctuary you could hold one, so here I am with Tyler the Tawny Owl. I was amazed at how light he was in weight, and how soft his feathers were.
He was very nosey and it was difficult to get a photo of him looking at the camera as he was watching everything and kept turning his head!
