Sunrise

Got up early this morning (well, 7ish) and looked out the bedroom door. Immediately threw on some clothes and went down the 20 metres to beach to photo this amazing sight.
Spent this morning in a little town along the way called Paeroa, this town has lots of antique/junk shops and a pleasant time was spent rummaging about. I also popped into the local museum as my great grandfather and mother ran the general store there in the 1880s. I found an article by my grandmother about her life there which was interesting and gratifying.
Delicious steak on the BBQ for supper
